Description
A beautiful lacquer tray handcrafted by Japanese maker Yusuke Tazawa. This dark colour is quite beautiful, the carved markings on the surface of the tray add aesthetically but also serve a function as they give traction to anything placed on top.
The tray is large enough for a tea set, and features a bevelled underside and cut corners so you can fit your fingers under each edge to pick it up. An item to be cherished.
Please note that each tray is individual and features slightly different markings from where the craftsman has been at work. They also have small knots on the surface of the wood.
