Description
A black lacquer spoon handcrafted from cherry wood by Japanese craftsman Hiroyuki Sugawara. Hiroyuki creates wooden tools for daily life, working from his studio named ‘greenlight’ in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture.
This form is first cut and then shaped completely by hand. Interestingly these spoons are quite long so they sit perfectly in the hand and can be used with ease. The lacquer gives the spoon a protective layer that with care are sure to stand the test of time.
